How to Use Soylent Prepaid Plans for Travel Nutrition

Quick answer

Use a Soylent prepaid subscription to stock up on single-serve bottles or powder packs before your trip—then portion them into travel-friendly containers for mess-free, complete meals anywhere.

Steps to use Soylent prepaid plans for travel

1. 1. Select your prepaid plan and flavors: Choose a 3‑month prepaid subscription in two flavors you enjoy (e.g., Original and Mint Chocolate). Order at least 10 days before your trip to allow shipping time. Mixing flavors prevents taste fatigue on longer trips.
2. 2. Portion your supply for the trip: Count the number of days you'll be away and how many meals you want Soylent to replace. Pack that many single‑serve bottles or pre‑weighed powder pouches in a separate bag. Don't open the bulk container mid‑trip—pre‑portion everything at home to avoid spills.
3. 3. Pack smart for security and freshness: For carry‑on flights, keep bottles under 3.4 oz or move powder into TSA‑compliant containers. Store powder in a sealed waterproof bag inside your main bag. Powder is not considered a liquid, so it passes through security checkpoints easily.
4. 4. Mix and drink as a full meal replacement: If using powder, add 2 scoops to 12 oz cold water, shake vigorously, and drink within 2 hours. If using a pre‑mixed bottle, just twist and sip. Always shake well—settled powder can clump if left too long.
5. 5. Maintain your schedule on the go: Set a phone alarm for your usual meal times. Drink your Soylent even if you aren't hungry—skipping meals on travel days can lead to energy slumps later. Sticking to your routine helps your body adapt and prevents temptation from airport food courts.
